Your right to cancel
Because you are buying at a distance, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day after you receive your order to change your mind, without giving any reason.
If your order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days run from the day after the last one is delivered.
How to cancel
Tell us before the 14 days are up — a clear statement is enough. Write to us at our contact page with your order number and which pieces you are returning. You do not have to use any particular form, but please do contact us first so we can log the return and tell you where to send it.
Once you have told us, you then have a further 14 days to send the pieces back.
The condition pieces come back in
You are welcome to examine a garment as you would in a shop — try it on, check the fit and the cloth. Please keep the tags attached and avoid wearing it outside, washing it, or applying perfume or make-up to it.
If a piece comes back worn or handled beyond what is needed to assess it, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in its value. That is a right the regulations give us, and we apply it sparingly and explain it if we ever do.
Pieces that cannot be returned
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- sealed garments that are not suitable for return once unsealed for hygiene reasons, such as underwear, swimwear and hosiery, where the seal has been broken;
- pieces made to your measurements, altered for you, or otherwise personalised at your request.
This does not affect your rights if an item turns out to be faulty or not as described — those apply to every piece we sell.
Return postage
Unless a piece is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, you pay the cost of returning it. We recommend a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage: until the parcel reaches us it remains your responsibility.
Where a piece is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we cover the return cost — contact us and we will arrange it rather than leaving you out of pocket.
How your refund is paid
- We refund to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
- We refund within 14 days of receiving the pieces back, or of the day you give us proof that you have sent them, whichever is sooner.
- A cancellation refund includes the standard outbound delivery charge you paid. If you chose a faster, more expensive service, we refund the standard rate rather than the upgrade.
- If you return only part of an order, the delivery charge is not refunded, since the rest of the order was still delivered.
Once we have issued a refund, how quickly it appears is up to your bank or card provider.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 everything we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you may reject it and claim a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After that you may ask for a repair or replacement, and a refund if neither is possible.
Tell us as soon as you notice, with a photograph if the piece is damaged, and we will sort it out. This is in addition to your right to cancel, not instead of it.
Exchanges
For a different size or a different piece, the quickest route is to return the original for a refund and place a new order, so the size you want is not sold while the parcel is in transit. If you would rather exchange directly, contact us and we will do what we can.
